Italian Neo-Classical architect, he came from Faenza, and settled in
Milan in 1800 after a long stay in Rome. He was much influenced by
French Neo-Classicists, as his monumental scheme for the Foro
Buonaparte, Milan (1801), shows, but his realized projects are few.
